Busted Up (1986)

Earl Bird is fighting to save his neighborhood, his family, and himself from the tightening grip of hoodlums who threaten to overpower his world. He's been a "round ring" boxer to support and raise his daughter, the only tender spot in his life. Aside from her, nothing else has ever meant much to Bird. But now, even she isn't safe from the corrupt local front man who is systematically squeezing the local tenants out of their homes and business.
